How to forward a voicemail from any smartphone

Voicemail forwarding on iPhone

If you have an iPhone, forwarding a voicemail is very easy. Here are the steps:

  • go to Phone application and press up Answering machine in the lower right corner
  • Find it answering machine that you want to promote and tap it
  • Tap on Share buttonwhich has an arrow pointing up from a square

Go to the Phone app on your iPhone, find the voicemail you want to share, tap the share button, and then you can choose how you want to promote the voicemail. (CyberGuy.com)

  • Choose how you want to send the voicemail. You can use AirDrop to share it with someone close, Messages to send it as a text message, Post office to send it as an email or any other another application which supports audio files
  • Add any extras information or comments that you want and send the voicemail

Voicemail forwarding on Android phone

If you have an Android phone, forwarding a voicemail may be slightly different depending on your model and carrier. However, the general steps are similar to the iPhone. Here’s how to do it:

  • open it Phone application and press up Answering machine
  • Find it answering machine that you want to promote and tap it
  • Develop it answering machine and press on Send an arrow

  • Select it application that you want to use to send voicemail. You can use Messages, Gmail, WhatsAppthe any other application which supports audio files
  • Add any additional information or comments you want and send the voicemail
